Ana Celia Velez-Rios has been a New York City resident since 1956. She was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York with her family and their Yorkshire Terrier and aquatic turtle. She previously worked in the field of administrative support for 47 years.

Ana Celia received an Associate’s of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts English Concentration in the fall of 2018 from Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York.

She is a member of a local Toastmasters International club. Toastmasters International is a worldwide public speaking organization.

Ana Celia is a born-again Christian and an animal rights advocate.
